The Opqo Maximo configuration includes installation of a mechanism for removing all the configuration changes that Opqo makes.

The details of the configuration changes that Opqo makes when it installs can be found in the support article: Opqo Maximo configuration changes

Uninstalling via the Opqo Uninstall menu option

The Opqo Uninstall sigoption provides a menu option on the Automation Scripts application in Maximo that executes the STAUTOSCRIPT.UNINSTALL script.  You can review this automation script to see the configuration that will be removed.

To uninstall via the Opqo Uninstall menu option you will need to first grant permissions to this option to administrator users.

Log into Maximo using an administrator account.

In the Security Groups application, grant the Uninstall Opqo sigoption on the Automation Scripts application to the MAXADMIN group.

Log out of Maximo, and log back in.

Navigate to the Automation Scripts application, and press Enter to show all the automation scripts.

Note: It is necessary for the scripts list to be populated for the Menu option to function.

Selecting the Uninstall Opqo menu option will present a confirmation dialog.  Selecting "Yes" will initiate the STAUTOSCRIPT.UNINSTALL automation script to perform the uninstallation.

After the uninstall script has completed successfully, you will note that the Opqo automation scripts (and other configuration) have been removed.  You can now delete the STAUTOSCRIPT.UNINSTALL script to complete uninstallation.
