Opqo lets users easily configure their application connection details with an easy to remember connection code.  To set up a new connection code, log in to the Sharptree Customer Console (https://console.sharptree.io).


From the home screen select the Manage Configurations button as highlighted below


Manage Configurations


The Manage Your Configurations screen contains a table of configurations and in the Code column displays the current connection code for each configuration as displayed below.  To modify an existing configuration click the edit icon, which is the paper and pencil image or to create a new configuration click the plus button on the bottom right of the table.


Manage Configurations Details


Name is required and is the name of the environment that will be displayed on the device when the user enters the connection code.  


Description is for management purposes and is not displayed to the user.  


Code is the value that the user will enter to retrieve the connection details. This value must be unique amongst all configuration codes registered with Sharptree.


Production toggle button allows an environment to be marked as production and will display as a production environment on the device, if left untoggled a label indicating that the environment is non-prod will be displayed.


Host is the Maximo server host name without http or https or other URL paths.


SSL Enabled toggle button indicates if SSL is configured for the target Maximo instance.


Clicking the More link will show more advanced options.


Port is the port Maximo is listening on, by default if SSL Enabled is selected this is 443 and if not 80.  Common alternative values may be 9443 for SSL Enabled or 9080 if not.


Allow Untrusted Certs toggle button is displayed if SSL Enabled is selected and allows connections to servers with self signed or otherwise untrusted SSL certificates.


App Context is the deployed Maximo application context value and defaults to maximo.


API Context is the OSLC API application context value and defaults to oslc.


Edit Configuration


Once the connection configuration details have been entered, click the Save Configuration button to save the configuration.


You can now share the connection code with your users for easy application configuration.
